natura.games is for everyone. For rich and poor the world over. Natura is not an online gaming platform, but a real world game that can be easily made and played without cost. 


Natura is not only a pleasure to play, but also a means to appreciate how land, sea, and the forces of nature support or harm life on earth.

Natura is quick to learn, and can be played on the sand with stones, or made with no more than a single sheet of paper and a pencil. For those more fortunate, and for personal play, Natura can be made full with texture and colour, with wood, stone, ceramic, glass, 3D printing and more...

Natura is played on an eight by eight square grid with pieces that represent the dry and wet places on earth, life, and the forces of nature that change our world.

Lands and Islands are represented by dark and light brown pieces.

Oceans and Seas are represented by dark and light blue pieces.

Natura Fire and Storm Pieces

Fires are represented by red pieces, and Storms by purple pieces.

Natura Rainforest and Meadow Pieces

Rainforests and Meadows are represented by dark and light green pieces.

The pieces may also be considered elements of a human’s landscape. Here, the forests and meadows stand for the creative and fragile areas of our nature, with fires and storms representing the unexpected events and challenges we face.

Although the rules of Natura take five minutes to learn, the gameplay is immeasurably rich and varied. With 'Flexible' and 'Rigid' rules, and 'Competitive', 'Fruitful', and 'Harmful' games, you will find Natura is as satisfying when played alone, as with family and friends.
